Image processing

Images selected in the ExactKB compressor are decoded, resized and encoded by your browser using local browser APIs. ExactKB does not upload the selected image file to an ExactKB server for compression, and it does not keep a copy of the compressed output.

Analytics and advertising

The website uses Google Analytics and third-party advertising services. These services may receive technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages visited, interactions, cookies or advertising identifiers. This data is separate from the image file you select for compression.

Cookies, local storage and permissions

Analytics and advertising partners may use cookies or similar browser storage. An advertising service may also use a service worker or offer browser notifications. Notifications can only be delivered after browser permission is granted. You can block or remove cookies and notification permissions in your browser settings.

Retention and accounts

ExactKB does not require an account and does not maintain an account profile or image history. Retention of analytics and advertising data is controlled by the relevant third-party provider.
